Marinated spare ribs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg spare ribs
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 5 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce, sweet
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp ginger, freshly grated
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

also suitable for chicken wings or turkey meat

Wash the spare ribs and pat dry. Peel the garlic and press it into a bowl. Peel and grate the ginger, and add it to the bowl with the garlic. Add the remaining ingredients to the garlic mixture and mix well. Brush the spare ribs or chicken wings with the marinade and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. You can also prepare them the night before and let them marinate overnight. You can cook the spare ribs on the grill or in the oven.
