Marlies Cake

The perfect marlies cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 170 g Ground hazelnuts or almonds
  • 4 Pc. Eggs
  • 90 g Sugar
  • 80 g Dark chocolate, grated
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 250 ml Cream
  1. Separate the eggs, beat the egg whites until stiff, stir the egg yolks with sugar until foamy and carefully fold them into the egg whites with a whisk
  2. Fold in the grated dark chocolate, almonds / hazelnuts, flour, baking powder and pour into a 24 cm springform pan
  3. Bake at 160 degrees air circulation for 25-30 minutes on the 2nd rack from below and allow to cool
  4. Bisquit Cut about 1 cm from the edge with the knife, leave 1/2 cm of the bottom, scrape out the middle part with a spoon, put it in a bowl -> crumble
  5. Whip the cream until stiff, put something in a plastic bag for decoration
  6. Mix the rest of the cream with the crumbs into the scraped biscuit and decorate with dots of cream
