Marzipan balls with raspberry jelly filling

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 150 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • flavoring (lemon), a few drops
  • 1 jar jam (raspberry jelly), or other jelly
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Christmas cookies

Knead the first five ingredients into a smooth dough and chill for at least one hour. Then, form hazelnut-sized balls from the dough and use a moistened wooden spoon handle to make small indentations in the balls. Carefully place a teaspoonful of jelly into each indentation. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
