Marzipan ducats

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 1 pack of flavoring (orange baking)
  • 50 g almond(s), ground
  • 80 g pistachios
  • 200 g marzipan paste
  • 3 tbsp Amaretto
  • 150 g dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Cream together butter, sugar, and finely diced marzipan. Mix together flour, cornstarch, orange zest, and almonds, and stir in. Shape the dough into small balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and flatten with the heel of your hand. Bake at 155°C (300°F) for 8-10 minutes. Let cool. Finely chop the pistachios. Knead with the marzipan and liqueur. Roll out between sheets of cling film and cut to the size of the cookies. Place each cookie between two cookies and press together. Melt the chocolate coating. Place in a freezer bag, cut off the tip, and cover the cookies with chocolate strips.
