Ingredients
- 150 g Marzipan raw mass
- 150 g Butter
- 1 glass Sour cherries
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- A few drops of bitter Almond oil
- 170 g Flour
- 1,5 tsp Baking powder
- Icing sugar, granulated sugar or other decorations
Instructions
- Cut off 100 g of the marzipan mixture and grate. Stir butter and pour in sugar. Add eggs, salt, vanilla sugar and bitter almond oil.
- Add the sliced marzipan and stir well. Mix flour with baking powder and add to the mixture, stir briefly.
- Fold the drained cherries into the batter and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 12 shapes. Dice the rest of the marzipan and sprinkle over the dough. Bake at 175 degrees for about 25 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar with a little water so that a thick mass is formed and spread over the muffins. Finally decorate
