Ingredients
 

  • 150 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1 glass Sour cherries
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • A few drops of bitter Almond oil
  • 170 g Flour
  • 1,5 tsp Baking powder
  • Icing sugar, granulated sugar or other decorations

Instructions
 

  • Cut off 100 g of the marzipan mixture and grate. Stir butter and pour in sugar. Add eggs, salt, vanilla sugar and bitter almond oil.
  • Add the sliced ​​marzipan and stir well. Mix flour with baking powder and add to the mixture, stir briefly.
  • Fold the drained cherries into the batter and mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into 12 shapes. Dice the rest of the marzipan and sprinkle over the dough. Bake at 175 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  • Mix powdered sugar with a little water so that a thick mass is formed and spread over the muffins. Finally decorate
