Low-histamine Spelled Pancake with Marzipan and Candied Cherries

The perfect low-histamine spelled pancake with marzipan and candied cherries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Spelled flour
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Tartar powder
  • 250 g Margarine
  • 100 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 2 tbsp Cranberry berries
  • 100 g Candied cherries
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Milk or lactose-free milk as tolerated
  • 2 tbsp Powdered sugar
  1. Mix the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar with the fat until frothy. Preheat the oven to 160 ° upper and lower heat
  2. Mix the flour with the baking powder (tartar powder), gradually add to the egg-sugar-fat mixture. Add liquid if necessary.
  3. Halve or quarter the cherries, cut the marzipan mixture into small cubes.
  4. Add the cherries, marzipan, cranberries and raisins to the batter and mix everything well. Keep stirring until the dough “cracks”
  5. Put in a greased bundt pan (I use a silicone mold because it’s easier) and then put in the oven for about 75 minutes.
  6. Let cool, dust with icing sugar, cut open and enjoy!
