Marzipan potato salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g confectionery (marzipan potatoes)
  • 35 g pistachios, chopped
  • 35 g brittle
  • 200 ml vanilla sauce, ready-made or according to any chef’s recipe
  • 35 g chocolate chips (chocolate chunks)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Halve the marzipan potatoes and mix with all the other ingredients. Finally, add the chocolate chunks. Divide the marzipan potato salad among 4 dessert bowls and garnish as desired, for example, with hazelnuts, almond slivers, fondant eggs, cherries, or even chocolate or caramel sauce. This dessert is perfect for marzipan fans and, thanks to its name and similarity to “real” potato salad, makes a great party gag. The quantities can, of course, be varied to suit your taste.
