Marzipan sticks

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 drops of flavoring (lemon flavor)
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • some jam
  • Chocolate coating, whole milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Whisk the marzipan (warm it up a bit in the microwave to soften it) with the butter until smooth, add the sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, and flavoring. Fold in the flour and cornstarch. Now comes the hardest part; I’ve already ruined two pastry syringes; it’s a very stiff dough… But the cookies are delicious! Pipe 5 cm long sticks onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 8-10 minutes. “Stick” two sticks together with marmalade and dip the ends in the melted chocolate coating. The cookies are very laborious, but delicious and also a feast for the eyes.
