Marzipan without sugar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g ground almonds
  • 2 shots of Amaretto or some bitter almond oil
  • 10 tbsp agave syrup or honey
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 1 pinch of vanilla
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened, if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with agave syrup or honey

Knead the ingredients (except for the cocoa powder). These quantities are approximate—just taste until it tastes like marzipan! The mixture should be quite sticky. If you want marzipan balls, roll them in small portions in the cocoa powder. This recipe also works well with liquid sweetener, but tastes better with agave syrup. For children, replace the amaretto with a little bitter almond oil.
