Mashed potatoes with fish fingers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 700 g fish fingers
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash, peel, and halve or quarter the potatoes, then boil in salted water for about 30 minutes. Drain and let the steam evaporate in a pot. Mash with milk, butter, and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Fry the fish fingers in a pan with a little butter. Serve with vegetables.
