Mayonnaise Cake

  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 250 g Mayonnaise
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 130 g Flour
  • 90 g Strength
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon Powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Butter for the mold
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Brush a bundt cake tin with enough butter and set aside.
  2. Separate the eggs for the dough and mix the egg yolks with sugar, vanilla sugar, mayonnaise and the juice and zest of a lemon into a homogeneous mass. Mix the flour, starch and baking powder together and sieve onto the egg yolk mixture. Mix everything into a smooth dough. Then the egg whites are beaten until stiff and folded in. Pour the dough into the prepared form, smooth it out and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
  3. After cooling, sprinkle icing sugar over the cake using a sieve.
