Meat sausage goulash

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 500 g meat sausage
  • 3 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste or 2 tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots. Boil in salted water for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, chop the sausage and dice the onions. Brown both in oil. If using fresh tomatoes, cut an X into the bottom, dip the tomatoes briefly in boiling water, then peel and chop. Add tomatoes or tomato paste to the sausage and stir. Deglaze with cream and stock. Add the potatoes and carrots and season with salt and pepper. Put the flour in a cup, add a little cold water, and stir the mixture until smooth. Stir to thicken the goulash and let it simmer for a few more minutes to remove the flour taste.
