Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g meat sausage (poultry sausage)
- 2 large onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp spice mix (gyros spice)
- salt and pepper
- 1 small bunch of parsley
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Halve the sausage lengthwise and slice. Slice the onions as well. Heat the olive oil in a large pan, add the sausage, and fry, stirring occasionally. After about 3 minutes, add the onions and simmer until translucent. Season to taste with pepper, salt, and gyro seasoning. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
