Meat Skewers * Half-fat * Grilled Quickly
The perfect meat skewers * half-fat * grilled quickly recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Veal liver
- 400 g Turkey breast steak
- 170 g Pork belly
- 5 piece Fresh onion
- 3 piece Red peppers
- Spices: thyme, ground caraway seeds, curry, salt, pepper
- 1 tablespoon Oil
preparation
- Cut meat and vegetables into pieces of roughly the same size approx. 2 x 2 x 0.5 cm and skewer alternately. (only take 3 pieces of the bacon per skewer)
Seasoning and grilling
- Place the skewers in the grill pan, season and brush thinly with oil. Then place the grill pan on the grill rack in the upper third of the oven, set one button to grilling + convection and the other button to 150 ° C.
Grilling time
- After 10 minutes, check that the skewers are crispy enough. Then take the pan with the skewers out of the oven, turn it over, season, brush a thin layer of oil and put it back in the hot oven for about 10 minutes. On the charcoal grill, the skewers take a little longer to cook.
A note on semi-fatty foods
- It is really strong to feel whether you are eating semi-fat or not. We didn’t feel so full after this meal compared to the “normal” meat skewers from my cookbook, which only consist of pork and more pork belly. The taste is very good with both types of skewers. However, the semi-fat skewer is about twice as expensive.
