Meat tarts

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, frozen
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 slice(s) Gouda
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 egg yolk
  • some milk
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Defrost the puff pastry according to the instructions. Peel and dice the onion, then sauté in the margarine until translucent. Add the minced meat, fry until crumbly, and season with the spices to taste. Stir in the ketchup, dice the slice of Gouda, and fold in. Roll out the puff pastry into squares approximately 10×10 cm. Place a little minced meat in the center of each square, brush the edges with egg white, fold over, and press firmly. Place the parcels on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and prick several times with a fork. Whisk the egg yolk with milk and brush over the pastry. Bake at 220 degrees (convection oven) for 15-20 minutes. A salad is perfectly sufficient as a side dish for me.
