Meatball, spicy style, without egg

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed or as desired
  • 4 sausages, fine, raw, the meat of them
  • 100 ml milk or stock or water
  • ½ vegetable onion(s)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp spice mix (seven-pepper mix) or cumin
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp curry powder, medium hot
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 chili pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp mustard (Dijon, Löwen or medium hot)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 dash of chili sauce (Hot Mamas No. 15)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs for rolling
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil, virgin

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Combine 50g of breadcrumbs with milk, stock, or water and let it swell. Then add the other ingredients. If the consistency is too thick, carefully add a little more liquid and mix until smooth. Now form patties and coat them in flour or breadcrumbs. Coating the patties in flour creates a wafer-thin, fine crust on the meatballs. Gently fry the patties as usual over medium heat.
