Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- some ginger
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 2 rolls
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tsp mustard
- 50 g chives, finely chopped
- 150 g feta cheese
- salt and pepper
- some oil for frying

Meatballs with feta and chives
First, peel the onion and dice it into small cubes. Finely chop a small piece of ginger (to taste) and the garlic clove. Soak the bread rolls thoroughly in water, squeeze out any excess water, and place them in a mixing bowl with the minced meat and the chopped ingredients. Now add the egg, a spoonful of mustard, and the chives. Crumble the feta cheese into as small pieces as possible by hand and mix everything together. Finally, season with salt and pepper (to taste, but not too little)! Form the mixture into relatively large patties (makes 10-12) and fry them thoroughly on both sides in a little oil, as usual.
