Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 ml milk
  • 70 g white bread, stale without crust or rolls
  • some olive oil for frying
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 2 tsp lemon peel
  • 2 tbsp grainy mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Tear up the bread, mix it with the milk in a bowl, and let it stand for at least 5 minutes. Finely dice the onions and fry them in a pan with a little oil until golden brown. Briefly fry the crushed garlic. Then let the contents of the pan cool on a plate. Place all ingredients in a bowl and knead. Preheat the oven to 230°C fan/convection oven. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Form the minced meat into small balls of about 30g and place them on the baking tray. Bake in the oven on the middle shelf for 15-20 minutes.
