Meatballs in a bed of kohlrabi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 kohlrabi
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 500 g minced meat, seasoned
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Clean, wash, and peel the kohlrabi; cut into sticks. Heat oil in a deep pan, add the kohlrabi, and sauté. Add the broth. Form the minced meat into dumplings and add to the kohlrabi. Cook for 20 minutes. Add the cream just before serving and sprinkle with parsley. Tip: Parsley potatoes go well with this dish.
