For the meatballs, finely chop 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic. Knead well with the minced meat, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, cinnamon, cloves, egg, and salt. Form the meat dough into small balls and fry in oil until golden brown on all sides. Meanwhile, heat about 6 tablespoons of oil in a pot. Finely chop the remaining onion and garlic and fry in the oil until translucent. First add the cumin, then the turmeric, coriander, chili powder, and salt, and fry briefly. Add 200 ml of water, mix well, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Peel the ginger and slice it into fine strips. Add the ginger and meatballs to the sauce. Stir in the lemon juice, cover, and let stand for a few minutes. Serve with chapati or rice.
