Ingredients

for the meatballs:

  • 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 3 Stems Parsley
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • If desired, additional spices, e.g. paprika powder, Greek spice mix etc.

for the rice:

  • 2 Pc. Chicken stock cubes
  • 350 g Rice

for the sauce:

  • 400 g Cooking liquid
  • 250 g Cream cheese
  • 1 Pc. Organic lemon, juice and zest
  • 1,5 tbsp Flour
  • Salt pepper

Instructions

  • First, chop the peeled clove of garlic, onion and parsley in a mixing bowl for 4 seconds on speed 8. Add all other ingredients for the meatballs and stir for 20 seconds on speed 5 counterclockwise. With slightly damp hands, shape walnut-sized balls out of the minced meat and distribute them on the Varoma shelf.
  • Place the stock cubes in the mixing bowl. Put the rice in the sieve and hang it in the mixing bowl. Add enough water to just cover the rice. Place the Varoma with the meatballs on it and cook everything for 26 minutes / Varoma / level 1.
  • Then set the meatballs and rice aside. For the sauce, cook the specified ingredients in a mixing bowl for 5 minutes at 100 degrees mark 4. Arrange the meatballs, rice and sauce. This fits z. B. Cranberries.
  • If you want to try potatoes instead of rice as a side dish, just take 1 stock cube and cook the potatoes with 500 g of water in a mixing bowl.
