Meatballs with cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, half and half
  • 100 g cheese, Edam or Emmental, grated
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 large green bell pepper(s)
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 2 tsp, heaped vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onion and bell pepper and finely grate them. Then, crack the egg into a saucepan and mix with the paprika and onion puree, chives, and vegetable bouillon powder. Then, add the minced meat and grated cheese, kneading and mixing everything thoroughly. Form the minced meat into even-sized balls, flatten slightly, and place them in a preheated pan. Brown on both sides at low heat.
