Meatballs with Cheese Sauce
The perfect meatballs with cheese sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Meatballs
- 450 g Minced meat
- 1 Bun old
- 1 Milk
- 2 Shallots
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 Egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
- Breadcrumbs
- Vegetable broth
sauce
- 300 ml Cooking stock from the meatballs
- 150 ml Rama Cremefine 7%
- 200 g Cream cheese with herbs double cream setting
- 200 g Grated cheese
- 200 g Parsley
- Lemon juice
- Worcester sauce
Meatballs
- Soak the roll in milk, peel the garlic and the shallots and cut into small cubes.
- Put the minced meat in a bowl, add the squeezed roll, garlic, shallots, egg, salt, pepper and cyenne pepper and mix everything well
- If necessary, add some breadcrumbs for better binding
- Form small meatballs out of the mixture and add them to the boiling vegetable stock and let them cook.
sauce
- Put 300 ml of the cooking stock in a saucepan, add Cremefin and bring to the boil.
- Add the cream cheese and grated cheese to the sauce and let it melt.
- Stir in the washed and chopped parsley and, if necessary, thicken with a little cornstarch.
- Now season the sauce with salt, pepper, lemon juice and Worcester sauce to taste.
Serving
- Take the meatballs out of the stock, put them on a plate, serve with the sauce and rice. Of course you can also eat mashed potatoes with it.
