Meatballs with Rice
The perfect meatballs with rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Pig meat
- 185 g Cooked basmati rice / rest
- 75 g 1 Zwiebel
- 8 g 1 Stück Ingwer / geputzt
- 8 g 1 Knoblauchzehe / geschält
- 8 g 1 rote Chilischote / geputzt
- 1 Ei
- 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Mild curry powder
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- Breadcrumbs
- 0,5 Cup Sunflower oil
- Peel and dice the onion. Peel and finely dice the ginger and clove of garlic. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and dice. All ingredients (250 g pork meat, 185 g cooked rice, 75 g onion cubes, 8 g ginger cubes, 8 g garlic cubes, 8 g chili pepper cubes, 1 egg, 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon mil-des curry powder, 1 teaspoon sweet pepper and 1 teaspoon salt ) in a bowl and knead well to form a dough. Shape meatballs (here 7 pieces) with moistened hands, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with sunflower oil (½ cup) on both sides until golden brown. The meatballs can be used for various dishes, but they also taste great warm and cold!
