Meatballs with tomatoes and spinach

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat (minced meat)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 class can/n tomato(s) , (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 200 ml water
  • 300 g leaf spinach, frozen (small blocks)
  • Oil or butter for frying
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion. Season the minced meat well, stir in the garlic and onion, and form small meatballs. Heat oil or butter in a pan and fry the meatballs until well browned. Mix the pizza tomatoes with the water and pour over the meatballs. The portionable spinach blocks can be added from frozen. Adjust seasoning if desired and simmer for about another 15 minutes, then taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve with rice.
