Mediterranean flatbread pizza

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 flatbread(s)
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 700 g tomatoes
  • 200 g herb butter
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Ideal for warm summer evenings

First, cut the flatbread in half crosswise, creating two halves. Spread each half with the herb butter (it’s recommended to take the herb butter out of the refrigerator for about 30 minutes beforehand to make it easier to spread). Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella. Now begin arranging the tomatoes and mozzarella, alternating from the edge of the flatbread. Make sure the tomatoes and mozzarella overlap slightly. Arrange the tomatoes and mozzarella in a circular pattern from the outside in – first the outer ring, then the inner one, and so on. Repeat this process for the second half of the flatbread. Bake the “pizza” in the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
