~ Mediterranean Garlic Baguette ~
The perfect ~ mediterranean garlic baguette ~ recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 16 Discs Fresh baguette from the bakery or bake
- 2 round Garlic cloves
- Olive oil
- Sea salt from the mill
- Black pepper from the mill
- Vegetable broth powder
- Liquid herbs
The baguette:
- Bake the baguette or cut it fresh from the baker into approx. 2 cm slices.
The marinade:
- Cut the garlic into very small pieces. Pour into a container and sprinkle olive oil on it. Add the spices and mix everything together
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven (top and bottom heat) to approx. 200 degrees. Brush the cut baguette slices with the garlic mixture (preferably with a small teaspoon).
To bake:
- Bake the marinated oven baguettes for about 10 minutes so that they are crispy. Then take them out of the oven and serve warm or cold.
Side dishes:
- Offer tomato salad (see recipe) or grilled meat or just as a snack in between with cheese in one piece.
