  • 1 can beans, thick
  • 1 can of sardines
  • salt and pepper
  • some olive oil
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Simple and very tasty

Halve the tomatoes, slice them, and place them in a large bowl. Peel and dice the onions and garlic. Drain the broad beans and add them. Roughly mash the sardines with a fork without draining them and add them to the pan, so you don’t need as much extra oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste and drizzle with a little olive oil. Let it sit for a few hours. If you like, you can also chop and add fresh basil, but it’s not necessary. Baguette is delicious with this dish.
