Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 honeydew melon or cantaloupe melon
  • 1 pack of raw ham
  • leaf lettuce

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Buffet – Hit

Halve the melon and scoop out the seeds. Then divide the halves again, and then each resulting piece again. So basically cut the whole melon into eighths! Since there are vegetarians at parties, I often arrange the ham on a platter with lettuce leaves around the melon pieces. Either in the middle or around the edges, whichever you prefer. Traditionally, the ham slices are placed slightly together and pierced with a toothpick in the center of the melon! You can serve them with grissini or baguette. A must-have on any buffet.
