Men's cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 m.-sized eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, chocolate
  • 115 g flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 liter of cream
  • 4 tbsp liqueur, coffee cream
  • 2 tbsp gelatin, instant (powder) or cream stiffener
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp coffee powder (cappuccino)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with 200g of sugar until stiff. Beat the egg yolks separately, then carefully fold into the beaten egg whites. Mix the chocolate pudding powder with the flour and baking powder, sift over the mixture, and carefully fold in. Line a springform pan with parchment paper, pour in the batter, and bake for approx. 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C (top and bottom heat). Remove the baking paper and let the base cool. Once cooled, cut the base in half. Chop 100g of dark chocolate medium-finely. Whip 500ml of cream with the instant gelatin (or cream stiffener) until stiff. Fold in the coffee liqueur and chocolate. Spread half of this cream on the bottom layer, place the second layer on top and spread with the remaining cream, then place the third layer on top. Whip 500ml of cream until stiff, then spread the cake with about half of the cream. Mix the cocoa powder with the cappuccino powder and dust the cake with it. Using a cake comb, create grooves. Pipe thick dots of the remaining whipped cream around the edges of the cake.
