Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 2 packets of vanilla pudding powder or cream pudding powder
- 1 liter of milk
- 4 tbsp, levelled sugar
- 100 g block chocolate
- 750 g low-fat curd cheese
- 250 g light mascarpone
- 80 ml rum
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 25 minutes
Prepare the pudding according to the package instructions with milk and sugar. Let it cool, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming. Meanwhile, grate the chocolate. Mix the quark with the mascarpone and rum. Stir half of the chocolate shavings into the quark cream. As soon as the pudding cream is about lukewarm, fold the quark cream into the pudding and then fold in the remaining chocolate shavings. If desired, set aside a few shavings for garnishing and then add them to the quark cream to decorate. Chill. Tip: By replacing the cream in the original quark cream with quark, it is much more figure-friendly. You can also replace the sugar with sweetener or stevia, or replace the mascarpone with low-fat quark.
