Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 6 egg whites
- 250 g sugar

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
Protein utilization
Beat the egg whites until stiff, then stir in the sugar until dissolved. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and pipe small dots onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. This mixture will cover two baking sheets. Bake in the oven at 110°C (fan oven) for about 80 minutes. When you open the oven and tap the top of the meringue with your finger, it should be firm, meaning it’s ready. Both baking sheets can be placed in the oven together, provided there’s enough space between them. However, I left the meringue on the bottom sheet in for an extra 10 minutes.
