Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Ready in 3 minutes!

Whisk the powdered sugar and egg whites until smooth. Form the mixture into lots of balls with a diameter of about 2 cm; this will make 40-50 balls. Line a normal-sized plate with kitchen paper or baking paper. Place 4-5 balls at a time on the plate, leaving plenty of space between them. Do not flatten them or shape them nicely; that will do no good. Place the plate in the microwave for 1-2 minutes on full power. 1.5 minutes worked best for me, but it depends on the microwave! Be careful, the plate will be very hot! Let the meringues cool for 20-30 seconds, carefully remove them from the paper, and place them in a bowl. Do the same with the remaining balls. No oven can do this as well! You can now decorate desserts with the meringues or simply enjoy them as they are.
