Metaxa Sauce for Pasta or Rice

The perfect metaxa sauce for pasta or rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 150 ml Cream
  • 200 ml Broth
  • 2 cl Metaxa
  • 1 tsp Food starch
  1. Cook rice according to instructions, I always use 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water. Bring the cream, broth and metaxa to the boil. Add the cornstarch with a little water after boiling and allow to thicken.
