Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 125 g vanilla sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g oat flakes, flower-soft
  • 50 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder, heaped
  • 1 lemon(s), grated peel
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g apples
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 40 g butter, liquid
  • 75 g almonds, peeled, chopped
  • 30 g sugar
  • Oat flakes, wholemeal

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a batter from the first 9 ingredients. For the filling, peel, quarter, core, and chop the apples. Sauté with the lemon juice over moderate heat. Then mix in the butter, almonds, and sugar. Thickly coat a greased springform pan with whole-grain oats. Pour in 3/4 of the batter and spread the filling evenly. Place the remaining batter on top in small mounds. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 1 hour.
