Mexican Potato Pan
The perfect mexican potato pan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 800 g Potatoes
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 Onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 0,5 teaspoon Chili powder
- 0,5 teaspoon Paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 0,5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Sour cream
- First boil the potatoes. In the meantime, heat the oil in a pan and gently sear the onion for about eight minutes.
- Add the garlic and spices and roast in the pan for two more minutes.
- Cut the potatoes into cubes.
- Then add the potatoes to the onion-spice mixture and mix everything together. Let cook a little more in the pan until the potato cubes are quite soft.
- Dust with a little cayenne pepper and arrange on plates with the sour cream. If you like, you can garnish the whole thing with chopped spring onions.
