Microwave cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 3 tsp butter, soft
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract, alternatively vanilla or vanillin sugar
  • 1 egg(s), size M

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes

Basic recipe

First, combine all the dry ingredients in a microwave-safe cereal bowl or large mug. Next, combine the vanilla extract (if you don’t have vanilla extract, you can also add vanilla sugar or vanilla sugar at this point) with the milk. Then, add the butter, vanilla milk, and egg to the flour mixture. Mix everything together until no lumps remain. Then, microwave the bowl on full power for 3 minutes. Tips: Instead of butter, you can also use 3 teaspoons of oil, but it tastes much better with butter. This basic batter can, of course, be varied. You can add a tablespoon of cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, chopped nuts, or anything else.
