Microwave cauliflower rice

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g cauliflower
  • 3 tbsp water
  • e.g. vegetable broth, soup broth or salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Basic recipe

Chop the cauliflower to the size of a rice grain; it can be a bit larger if desired. Place the rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Add water and seasonings to taste. Place the lid on the bowl and microwave on full power for 5-8 minutes. I use 900 watts. The cauliflower can be eaten as rice in its basic form or in any number of variations. It contains approximately 65 kcal per serving.
