Microwave mug cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar (bourbon)
  • 3 tbsp whipped cream or spray cream
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, as needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 9 minutes

This recipe is for a large mug (0.5 l). Whisk the egg with the sugar and vanilla sugar in the mug. Add the cream and mix in. Stir in the oil. Also stir in the flour and cocoa powder. Baking powder isn’t needed because of the whipped cream. Now place the mug in the microwave on full power for about 2 minutes. Then open it briefly and put it back in the microwave for another 1-2 minutes. To keep the cake nice and moist, I always place a small cup of water next to the cake. Let the cake cool for a few minutes before eating, as it will be very hot. Tip: If you like, you can also add cinnamon, peanut butter, or chocolate drops to taste; they taste great too!
