Milkmaid pudding

Slowly melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. When it’s nice and golden, deglaze with about 100 ml of water and stir vigorously until the sugar pieces have dissolved. Pour the caramel into a baking dish, preferably a round dish with a hole in the middle or another round dish. In a mixing bowl or in a blender, mix the milk, milk, and eggs until smooth. It doesn’t need to be beaten for long. Then pour over the caramel. Place the dish on the baking sheet in the oven and pour a few cups of water onto the baking sheet. Bake at 180°C for about 1.5 hours. Refrigerate overnight and turn out onto a plate with a small indentation before serving (to avoid the runny caramel).
