Milk dumplings

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of ready-made potato dumpling mix
  • 6 pieces of chocolate (recommended by Milka)
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

a very quick and popular dish with children

Prepare the dumpling dough according to the package instructions. Divide into 6 pieces, flatten slightly, and add 1-2 chocolate chips to each piece (or 2 for the chocolate lovers among us). Shape into dumplings and place in lightly salted, boiling water. Let them simmer for about 15-10 minutes over low heat. Shortly before the dumplings are ready, toast the breadcrumbs with a little sugar in a non-stick pan until slightly browned. Place the dumplings in deep plates and serve with the breadcrumbs (a little more sugar for those with a sweet tooth). Note: This is a very simple and, above all, very quick dish. If you have a bit more time, you can also make the potato dumplings yourself. This recipe also works with curd dumplings, of course, but we prefer it with potato dumplings. The best thing about it is that you can try other types of chocolate, such as white chocolate, dark chocolate, etc., so you can always vary it and use your favorite type.
