Small yeast rolls that children love, sweet or savory!
Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle. In a cup, mix the yeast with a spoonful of sugar and a little of the milk until dissolved. Pour the yeast mixture into the well and cover with flour. Place a cloth or lid over the dough and let it rise for half an hour. When the dough has increased in size considerably, add the other ingredients and knead thoroughly. Let it rise for another half hour. Then cut out tangerine-sized pieces from the dough, roll them into a round or oblong shape and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Leave some space between them as the pastries will still rise. Bake for 10 minutes at 180°C fan oven. Tip: You can also fill these pastries with something else, for example, put a piece of chocolate in the middle. Or leave out the sugar and add some fried bacon and onions.
