Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 liter of milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ lemon(s), the peel
- 200 g millet
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Bring the milk to a boil with the butter, honey, salt, and the washed and grated lemon zest. Then add the washed millet and simmer over low heat for about an hour until a smooth paste forms. Pile the millet into a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. If desired, you can also add 50 grams of washed sultanas or raisins.
