Millet with coconut milk and fruits

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 180 g millet
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 50 g raisins
  • 300 g apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the millet and bring to a boil with the raisins, vanilla sugar, and coconut milk. Cook for 7-10 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently. Meanwhile, cut the apples into approximately 2-2 cm cubes. Fold in the apple cubes. Once it boils again, reduce the heat to low and let it swell for 10-15 minutes. Slice the bananas and add them shortly before the end of the cooking time. Toast the flaked almonds in a dry pan and sprinkle them on the plates when serving.
