Minced meat and chickpea pan with feta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 80 g chickpeas
  • 60 g feta cheese
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 150 ml water
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • ½ bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel and chop the onions and garlic. Wash, deseed, and finely slice the bell peppers. Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Brown the minced meat in a pan and season with salt, pepper, chili flakes, and cumin. Add the onion, garlic, and paprika and fry for another 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste, let it wilt briefly, and then deglaze with water. Add the chickpeas, stir, and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste. Pick and finely chop the parsley leaves. Crumble the feta and sprinkle it with the parsley over the minced meat and chickpea mixture.
