Minced meat and mozzarella muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 stale roll
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 12 mini mozzarella
  • possibly grease for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

for 12 muffins

Soak the bread roll in water and squeeze out any excess moisture. Mix the ground beef, bread roll, onion, egg, tomato paste, herbs, and spices thoroughly with a fork. Let the mixture sit for 1/2 hour, then season to taste. Preheat the oven to 170°C fan/convection oven. Grease 12 muffin cups if necessary. I use silicone cups. Pour half of the meat mixture into the cups and make a small hollow. Place the mini mozzarella cheeses inside. Spread the remaining meat mixture over the top and press down firmly. Place the muffins in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes and tomato salad.
