Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 bunch of spring onions, cut into rings
- 3 clove(s) garlic, chopped
- 500 g rice
- 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow, small dice
- 3 tbsp Ajvar, hot
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- ½ tube(s) tomato paste
- Salt
- pepper
- Paprika powder, hot
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cook the rice. Brown the ground beef, then add the spring onions, garlic, and bell peppers and fry briefly. Add the tomato paste and sauté briefly. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and bring to a boil. Add the ajvar and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste. Add the rice to the pan, stir well, and let it warm through.
