Minced meat and rice pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g rice (brown rice)
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled, whole
  • 400 ml beef broth
  • 2 bell peppers, red and yellow
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 1 onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with fresh peppers

First, dice the onion, then slice the bell peppers into strips and then cut them into bite-sized pieces. Brown the minced meat in a deep pan. Once the minced meat is cooked, add the vegetables and rice, and stir them in. Quarter the canned tomatoes and add them to the pan. Season with pepper, salt, and paprika. Now give everything a good stir and then add the stock. Simmer for about 15 minutes, preferably with the lid on. Then add the feta cheese and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
