Minced meat and spinach pizza

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 500 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 200 g mozzarella, grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp carrot(s), very finely diced
  • 1 tbsp celery, very finely diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme
  • rosemary
  • 1 serving of pizza dough
  • 200 ml tomato sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Brown the minced meat in olive oil. Once the water has evaporated, add the carrots, celery, and onion and fry for another 5 minutes. Add the spinach and stir to evaporate the water. Now add the garlic, herbs, and spices and stir briefly. Remove from the heat and let cool. Bake the prepared pizza dough (it must be well risen) for 10 minutes at 225°C (425°F) using the bottom heat. Spread the tomato sauce on top, then add the minced meat and spinach mixture and sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
