Minced meat cream sauce with tomato and peppers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion(s)
  • e.g. garlic, fresh
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 can of tomatoes, pureed or chopped
  • 100 g cream
  • e.g. tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • some Parmesan
  • n. B. herbs, e.g. oregano, basil
  • 500 g pasta of your choice
  • Oil, margarine or other fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Bring plenty of pasta water to a boil. In the meantime, dice the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Add salt to the boiling water, add the pasta, and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Heat a little oil, margarine, or other fat in a fairly small saucepan. Brown the onions, garlic, and bell pepper, then add the minced meat. Cook until the minced meat is crumbly, season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the tomatoes and cream, stir well, and simmer for a few minutes over medium heat. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir well again. Season with a few herbs, such as oregano and basil, and continue simmering. When the pasta is al dente, add some of the pasta water from the tomato sauce and stir well. Drain the pasta in a colander.
